In "Acrine," vibrant brushstrokes and playful shapes come alive. Working with a colorful palette, Ksenia Sizaya created the large-scale painting using sponges, palette knives and brushes to celebrate the juxtaposition of order and spontaneity. "With a playful touch, this artwork shows how life moves and changes, with every little thing adding to its story," Sizaya states. CB2 exclusive.
Ksenia Sizaya is a Montreal-based artist who was trained in St. Petersburg, Russia, and completed her master's degree in graphic art. Sizaya says her art is influenced by abstract expressionism and modernism. "I've always been a creative person, even as a small child. Design and art have always been a major part of my life." The artist is inspired by city life imagery and the outdoors.
