Patrick St. Germain draws inspiration for his abstract work from the process of sculpture. Applying a thick, even layer of fibrous paste, the artist uses a sculpting knife to create texture. "The act of removing material to achieve the desired result really intrigued me—like working backwards," St. Germain explains. CB2 exclusive.
Patrick St. Germain is a Montreal-based artist who works mostly with acrylic paint, resin, metallics and pastels. He describes his style of art as primarily abstract, textural and complex. "I love to explore the grandeur of nature by weaving abstraction and landscape into my own personal visual language."
