Mixing thin layers of paint directly on raw canvas, artist Edward View took inspiration for "Piovere" from the abstract shapes people form while wearing their raincoats. The paint is sanded and scraped away to create a gritty effect that captures the haze of rain. CB2 exclusive.

Edward View is a Montreal-based artist who draws on architecture, infrastructure and the city he lives in to create his modern art. "I enjoy exploring new mediums and taking geometry and iconography from one medium and moving them to another."
