We've partnered with Nuove Forme to release a replica of a sculpture designed by midcentury Italian ceramicist Alvino Bagni in the late 1960s. Composed of a dove sitting on a woman's lap to represent peace, the stunning sculpture is formed and painted by Nuove Forme's skilled ceramicists in Florence, Italy. The piece is crafted from a single mold, making delicate details like the woman's hands all the more impressive. Finished with a mix of four glazes to create Bagni's signature "sea garden" hue, the reactive glaze is applied in two layers to create tonal variations that range from green to deep ochre.
